Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur launched on October 5, 2023 and received a healthy run of post-launch updates through early 2024. The developer shipped several feature updates in quick succession after launch: Update 1.0.4 (November 10, 2023) reworked Morgana's blessing/curse system and added elite enemies; Update 1.0.5 (November 20, 2023) introduced a Runes mechanic; and Update 1.0.6 (December 22, 2023) added 12 new Knight Blessings and 10 new shop items. Update 1.0.7 (January 26, 2024) added gameplay modifiers. A March 1, 2024 post rounded up all these post-launch improvements in a summary video, framing them as a completed wave of post-release support.
After that March 2024 summary, developer communications shifted away from game updates. The May 2024 and December 2024 posts were promotional announcements about a bundle deal with another Gambir Studio title ("When the Light Dies"), not news about new content for Knight vs Giant itself. There have been no feature patches, content announcements, or development updates since March 2024 — a period stretching to June 2026.
The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which released on launch day.
