Koi Farm

Koi Farm launched on February 26, 2021 and received a series of patches and feature updates throughout 2021–2022, covering new colors, patterns, translations, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. The most recent developer communication was posted on April 10, 2025, which announced an improvement to koi schooling behavior and mentioned that a Nintendo Switch version was in development and expected to release that year (2025). That Switch port was the only announced unshipped deliverable at the time of the previous evaluation. As of today (October 1, 2026), the 2025 target window for the Switch release has passed entirely with no follow-up communication — no launch announcement, no delay explanation, and no further posts of any kind since April 10, 2025. The developer has been silent for over 17 months. There is no history of major post-launch PC content updates (only the one initial release event, plus smaller patches), so there is no established content cadence to suggest more is coming. The Switch port, while unconfirmed as shipped, is a platform release rather than new game content for existing players. The store description and DLC list show no unreleased content. Given the silence well past the stated 2025 window, and no developer statement reaffirming or extending any plans, the game is best assessed as complete — the PC content has been finished since at least the April 2025 patch, and that patch date serves as the last known point of developer engagement with the product.
