Koi-Koi VR: Love Blossoms launched on October 11, 2022, graduating from an Early Access version to its full 1.0 release. The game received one DLC — a Non-VR Edition released on April 24, 2023 — which is the only additional content that was ever released or announced. Since then, developer activity has been limited to maintenance: a bug fix related to the DLC download in May 2023, an announcement in December 2024 of incoming Chinese subtitle support, and the delivery of that update in January–February 2025. No additional DLC has been announced or listed. The developer has not communicated any plans for further content beyond these localization and compatibility updates. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product, with its content cycle concluding with the Non-VR Edition DLC in April 2023.

The hot spring resort Tokoharu Koi-Koi Hot Spring is a ryokan famous for its plum and cherry trees, which bloom all year round.However, a mysterious storm caused the two trees to lose all their beautiful blooms a few years ago.
The ryokan now faces a crisis—will it have to close down?
Having inherited this ryokan, you meet two sisters there who you discover to be old childhood friends.
—The cool and composed older sister Koume, and shy younger sister Sakura.
Spending time under the same roof, the three of you work towards restoring the ryokan to its former glory.
The innkeeper Itsuha tells you something completely unexpected.
The key to making the plum and cherry trees bloom again is forming a connection with the two sisters in both body and soul!
