LASERS launched on January 11, 2024 and received consistent updates through early March 2024. The developer shipped two major content updates: new maps, emotes, and skins on January 18, 2024 (v1.0.13), and another set of six new levels along with player statistics, difficulty scaling, and other features on February 29, 2024 (v1.1.0). A developer post on February 21, 2024 acknowledged the game was not generating enough revenue to cover server costs, announced a switch from free-to-play to a $2.99 price point, and published a 2024 roadmap with additional planned content including more maps and potential Steam Workshop integration. The last update of any kind was a feature patch on March 5, 2024 (v1.1.3). Since that date — now more than 27 months ago as of June 20, 2026 — there has been no developer communication whatsoever. The roadmap content promised in February 2024 was never confirmed as delivered or formally cancelled. Given the developer's own acknowledgment of financial strain at the time, the complete cessation of updates since March 5, 2024 raises real uncertainty about whether the game is still being actively supported or whether development has quietly ended without an official announcement.
