Evaluation

Last Neighbor is a compact puzzle-horror escape game that launched on November 13, 2019. The developer pushed several balance and feature patches in the weeks following launch, culminating in a significant quality and balancing overhaul (v3.0) on April 20, 2020. That update resolved all known bugs and reworked multiple systems — and it is the last post that addressed Last Neighbor directly. Since April 2020, the developer's news posts on this page have exclusively promoted their other games: JoY (September 2024), Desktank going free-to-play (June 2025), and a new psychological horror title called Asvara (December 2025). None of these posts announce new content for Last Neighbor. The store description describes a self-contained experience with a single clear objective — escape the house — with no mention of expansions, sequels, or ongoing updates. The game appears to have launched and been refined as a finished, standalone product. The developer has moved on to new projects and has not communicated any plans to add further content to Last Neighbor. The last substantive work on the game was the v3.0 update on April 20, 2020.
Evidence
v3.0 quality and balancing update reworked the tutorial, HUD, AI, sounds, and graphics, and fixed all known bugs. The developer described the game as feeling like a 'different game now' and expressed satisfaction with results — the last post to address Last Neighbor directly.

About this game

You play as a young thief who broke into the wrong house, he thought the place was empty because he saw the owners leaving with suitcases, but there was still somebody in the house. It could be dangerous so you have to get out fast. But the house is kind of weird, every door and every window is locked, it feels like a cage. Maybe the owners were trying to keep somebody locked down. Your main goal is to escape the house as fast as possible by unlocking doors and solving puzzles.
