Leap Year

Leap Year launched on June 13, 2024 as a compact, self-contained platformer (~2 hours, 40+ rooms). Following launch, the developer shipped several bug fix and quality-of-life patches through August 2024. On February 28, 2025, a paid DLC called "Leap Year: March" was released, adding approximately 4 hours of new content, 50+ rooms, and 7 new achievements — a substantial follow-up aimed at players who completed the base game. A follow-up bug fix patch on March 7, 2025 addressed minor issues in the DLC. There are no unreleased DLC entries in the store listing, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating further additions are planned. The game was developed by a solo developer (Daniel Linssen) commissioned by Sokpop Collective, a studio known for small, complete indie releases. The March DLC appears to represent the full extent of post-launch content, with development having wrapped up as of March 7, 2025.
