Legendary Creatures 2 launched on October 17, 2023. At launch, the developer explicitly announced two pieces of planned post-launch content: a challenge mode and modding support. Both were delivered in the December 21, 2023 update, which shipped challenge mode with 6 difficulty levels and full Steam Workshop modding support — fulfilling all publicly communicated commitments. Following that December 21, 2023 update, there have been no developer announcements of additional content, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no roadmap pointing to further expansions or updates. The post-launch activity consisted entirely of balance patches and bug fixes in the weeks after launch (October–November 2023), culminating in the December update that delivered everything that had been promised. The developer has not communicated any plans beyond what has already shipped. With all announced content delivered and no subsequent signals of further development, the game appears to have reached its complete state as of December 21, 2023.
