Legends of Hidden Sword

Legends of Hidden Sword is a Chinese mythology-themed action RPG that entered Early Access on April 24, 2022. The developer published a roadmap on April 26, 2022 outlining plans to add three and a half remaining chapters, then graduate the game to a full 1.0 release. They explicitly stated that no DLC or workshop content was planned after that release. Progress updates followed through mid-2022, including a July 2022 post noting that two chapters remained and a full release was targeted for August 2022. On September 18, 2022, the developer announced that the complete story content had been added, with a note that some areas still needed polish, and that subsequent updates would focus on refining existing content before transitioning to a full release. That post on September 18, 2022 was the last official communication from the developer. The game has remained in Early Access ever since, with no announcement of a 1.0 launch, no further patch notes, and no explanation for the delay. This silence has now lasted from September 2022 through June 2026 — well beyond any reasonable timeframe for the described final polish phase. The promised graduation to a full release has not occurred, and it is unclear whether development is still active or the project has been effectively abandoned.
