Legion 51 launched on November 20, 2019. The developer posted a release announcement on November 21, 2019 and a first patch update on November 26, 2019, promising upcoming improvements such as new game modes, achievements, leaderboards, and save functionality. However, there have been no further developer communications of any kind since November 26, 2019 — nearly six and a half years ago as of June 2026. None of the promised features (new game modes, achievements, leaderboards, saves) were ever confirmed as shipped. The game has no DLC listed, no post-launch major content releases, and no developer roadmap updates beyond that first week. Given the complete absence of any developer activity since late November 2019, the promised features were never delivered and the game has effectively been abandoned in its launch state. It functions as a complete, self-contained game in its shipped form.
