Lemon launched on July 10, 2024 as a free-to-play clicker game. Five days after launch, on July 15, 2024, the developer posted an update announcing that inventory drops were live and listing upcoming features they intended to add: a Discord server, drop chance tweaking, equippable skins, and a prestige/ascend system. That post is the last official communication from the developer on record. As of June 19, 2026, nearly two years have passed with no follow-up posts, patch notes, or announcements. The promised features — most notably the equippable skins and prestige system — do not appear to have shipped. Because the developer publicly committed to these additions but then went silent for an extended period with no explanation, it is unclear whether development is continuing or has been abandoned.
