Lethe - Episode One

Lethe – Episode One launched on August 1, 2016 and received several post-launch patches addressing bugs, quality-of-life improvements, Steam Achievements, and trading cards through June 6, 2017. The last developer communication of any kind was that June 2017 hotfix — nearly nine years ago as of today. On August 1, 2017, the developers published a first-anniversary post announcing that they had abandoned the episodic approach entirely. They confirmed no further episodes of Lethe would be released, explaining that the "Episode One" label had harmed sales and that their new project — a separate game called Lethe 2: Origins — would be a standalone title on a new engine. This makes clear that the original game is a self-contained, complete product with no further content planned. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no roadmap or outstanding commitments for Episode One, and no developer communication after June 2017. The store description still references future episodes conceptually, but the developer explicitly walked back the episodic model in the anniversary post, which supersedes that language. The game shipped as a finished single episode and has been complete since its final patch.
