Evaluation
Let's Take a Bath with Purin 2 launched on July 11, 2024 as a self-contained casual simulation game. Following launch, the developer shipped two feature patches: Version 1.03 on July 25, 2024 (adding new hairstyles and options menu improvements) and Version 1.06 on October 23, 2024 (adding VR support for HTC VIVE and Meta Quest 3 along with gameplay tweaks). Neither patch introduced major new content — they were incremental improvements to the existing experience. The developer has not posted any updates since October 23, 2024, and has made no announcements about future DLC, expansions, or ongoing content plans. The store description presents the game as a complete short-form experience with no mention of upcoming content. This game appears to have launched as a finished product and received some post-launch polish before going quiet.
Evidence
Version 1.06 added VR support for HTC VIVE and Meta Quest 3, improved punch detection, loading screen tips, and expanded settings. This is the last known developer communication.
Version 1.03 added new purchasable hairstyles, window switching option, and a shop bug fix shortly after launch.
