LIBERATED

Liberated launched on PC on July 30, 2020, and came bundled with two free story DLC chapters ("For the Homeland" and "Glory to the Heroes") alongside a soundtrack and digital goodies pack — all released on launch day or the day after. The developer described these two epilogue chapters as showing "the aftermath of the main game's events," framing them as a complete storytelling package rather than the start of an ongoing content pipeline. Following launch, the developer issued a couple of feature patches (adding widescreen support and a Japanese localization) and certified the game for Steam Deck in March 2022. The 2nd anniversary post in July 2022 celebrated the game's milestones and offered a discount, but contained no announcements of new content. The most recent post in the developer's news feed (July 2024) is a promotion for an entirely separate game — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Purgatory — with no mention of any new Liberated content. All four DLC items are released, no unreleased DLC exists, and the developer has made no announcements of future content for Liberated at any point since launch. The game shipped as a complete experience and has received no new story content since its July 2020 release. The last developer communication directly related to Liberated was the 2nd anniversary post on July 31, 2022.
