Evaluation
Life Eater launched on April 16, 2024 as a complete horror fantasy kidnapping simulator with a fully voiced story mode. Shortly after launch, the developer shipped several patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements. On May 17–20, 2024, they released Endless Mode — a procedurally generated, score-attack mode that had been teased as an upcoming feature in a May 11 patch note. The store description confirms Endless Mode is included in the game. The final developer communication was a controller hotfix on May 29, 2024. Since then, there have been no announcements, roadmaps, or developer posts of any kind. The game's store description describes both the story mode and Endless Mode as current features rather than upcoming ones, and no DLC or additional content has been listed on the store. The developer has not indicated any further content is planned, and the post-launch activity — a burst of patches and one free mode addition in the weeks following launch — has since gone quiet, consistent with a game that has reached its complete state.
Evidence
Endless Mode fully released as a free update, adding procedurally-generated targets, a leaderboard, and profile support. Marketed as a way to play 'forever.'
Pre-Endless Mode patch notes explicitly state Endless Mode is 'coming next week,' indicating it was the next and final planned feature addition.

About this game
Life Eater is a horror fantasy kidnapping simulator. Play as a modern-day druid living in suburbia, holding down a dead-end job to pay for your true vocation: conducting the annual ritual that keeps the world from ending.
To delay the end of the world, you must sacrifice a number of specific - but vaguely-described - human beings every year. Use a video editing-inspired interface to discover the story of your victims' lives, one schedule block at a time. Pry into the most intimate details of your targets' schedules, and when the time is right: abduct them before the authorities can find your lair. Time is short and your list of names is long. Choose your options wisely... and pray that the dark god you serve is even real.
