LINCH entered Steam Early Access on January 2, 2018. In the months that followed, the developer posted a handful of minor updates — a bug fix patch on January 6, 2018 and a feature patch adding voice chat on January 8, 2018. On May 2, 2018, the developer posted a message to the community acknowledging small financial problems, stating they had been working on the game for four months since launch, and promising to deliver a full release — potentially ahead of their original 2019 target. That post is the last official communication from the developer on record. No further updates, patches, roadmap posts, or announcements have appeared since May 2, 2018. The game has remained in Early Access for over eight years with no indication of whether development is continuing, has stalled, or has quietly been abandoned. The financial difficulties mentioned in the final post were never followed up on.

Linch is a multiplayer first person card game where all the gameplay takes place in the train coupe. All you need to do – use your brains and have some pleasure trying to kill everyone who’ll be at the opposite side of the table. Thrilling cutscene animations and sound will bring you into the atmosphere of fear.
- Take the role of a captive, who plays for his life as the stake.
