Lines X

Lines X is a compact Numberlink puzzle game that launched on October 31, 2017 with 100 puzzles, color themes, ambient soundtracks, and Steam features. It was designed and shipped as a self-contained product. The most recent developer communication specifically about Lines X dates to January 20, 2018, when the developer posted asking for player feedback and listing some UI and quality-of-life improvements they were considering. There is no evidence that any of those updates were ever shipped as a major content release, and no post-launch major content updates for Lines X appear in the news record. The developer's subsequent activity shifted entirely toward other titles — announcing Sudoku (December 2017), Sudoku Killer (October 2018), and promoting Anomaly Hunter (2020–2021) under their rebranded "Hook Games" label. The last developer communication of any kind was January 18, 2021, and that post made no reference to Lines X. The store description still contains a "Coming soon" note for Trading Cards, Backgrounds, and Emoticons — a legacy placeholder from around launch that was never updated — but this reflects an old store page rather than an active development commitment. With no post-launch major content releases, no outstanding announced content, and developer attention having moved on to other projects years ago, Lines X is a complete, finished puzzle game. It launched as a self-contained product and remains so.
