Little Aviary launched on November 17, 2025 and has been actively and consistently updated since. The developer shipped a major Tropical Birds content update on December 15, 2025 (adding a new bird category and holiday decorations), a significant breeding system rework and balance overhaul in Update 1.4.0 on March 26, 2026, and most recently added 10+ new decorations based on community suggestions on June 19, 2026 — roughly two months before today. In between, numerous feature patches and bug fixes have been released. In a post on November 24, 2025, the developer explicitly mentioned "maybe more content updates in 2026," which has proven accurate given the continued stream of updates. The solo developer (Tom) has maintained an engaged presence, actively soliciting community suggestions for decorations as recently as May 2026 and acting on them in June 2026. No announcement of a final update or conclusion of content development has been made. The only DLC is a Supporter Pack that shipped on launch day — there are no unreleased DLC items listed.
