The store description describes a fixed set of cases with a stated playtime of 2–3 hours, consistent with a finished product. In an October 12, 2024 developer post, the developer was candid about the game's future: they stated they had not yet recouped development costs and therefore felt it would be unwise to pursue DLC or a sequel. They confirmed they had already moved on to working on a new game. This is a clear signal that no additional content is planned for Little Locked Rooms. Subsequent posts — a Japanese localization added on February 8, 2025, and a localization quality update on September 29, 2025 — are maintenance-level updates and do not indicate new content. They show the developer is still tending to the game, but the October 2024 statement about not pursuing DLC remains the most definitive word on content plans. The game launched as a complete package and the developer has explicitly ruled out further content investment. Little Locked Rooms is a finished product.
