Live Empire launched on November 13, 2020, with its single released DLC (an animation pack) already available. The developer shipped two feature patches in January 2021 (v1.1.2 and v1.1.4), both of which included a promise to "continue to introduce new free characters and optimize the game content." However, no new characters or major updates for Live Empire were ever announced or shipped after January 19, 2021. By mid-2021 the studio had pivoted its focus to a sequel (Live Empire 2, released in Early Access in August 2021) and a series of other new titles (Muse: Valkiri & Dungeon, Muse War, Goddess of War, Rise & Muse). Developer communications from 2022 onward make no reference to any further updates for the original Live Empire. The studio's attention has clearly moved on, and no outstanding commitments for this game remain. The most recent meaningful update to Live Empire was the v1.1.4 patch on January 19, 2021, which is the most reasonable marker for when the game's content became complete.
