Lower? Higher! launched on November 11, 2024 as a cyberpunk-styled pawnshop bargaining game. Shortly after launch, on November 15, 2024, the developer published a roadmap post and opened a beta branch, explicitly stating that a sponsorship system, additional products, customers, and events were still being developed. They also opened a beta version extending the game to 120 days, acknowledging it had "few new contents" at the time and promising continued additions. On December 5, 2024, the developer shipped update V1.1, which added two new employees and an Endless Mode — a meaningful content drop that fulfilled part of the near-term roadmap.
However, there have been no developer communications of any kind since December 5, 2024. Given that the November 15, 2024 post made clear that several features were still in development — and the beta branch was explicitly described as a work-in-progress — the outstanding commitments from that roadmap remain unconfirmed as completed. The developer has now been silent for more than six months, which is longer than the entire period of their previously active communications (roughly November to December 2024). It is not possible to confirm whether the promised content was delivered, development stalled, or the project was quietly wound down.
