Ludus Deceptor

Ludus Deceptor is a dark roguelike card game where every run is unique and every card can lead to victory, a curse, or new combinations.

Your journey begins in a prison dungeon, at a table opposite your cellmate. A simple card game gradually becomes a struggle for every coin, and a climb from a single coin to the crown. From filthy cells and guards to lavish castle halls and the royal audience chamber, each new opponent plays by their own rules.

Build five-card combinations, strengthen your hand with bonuses, take risks for rare rewards, and decide when to choose the safer treasure deck or the cursed deck with more dangerous but powerful effects. Victory depends not only on luck, but also on reading the situation, building combinations, enhancing cards with items, and strengthening your hand with stamps and various archives.
