MacGuffin's Curse originally launched on April 19, 2012 as a complete, self-contained comedy puzzle-adventure. The game shipped with 150+ puzzle rooms, 90+ sidequests, a full soundtrack, and a complete story — there was never any post-launch DLC or expansion content announced or released.
The most significant post-launch activity was a technical overhaul delivered on March 15, 2022: Brawsome updated the decade-old Unity project to produce HD assets, added widescreen (16:9) support, and released a Linux build for the first time. This was a quality-of-life renovation rather than new game content.
Most of the developer's news posts in recent years relate to Brawsome's third game, Warp Frontier (released September 28, 2021), rather than MacGuffin's Curse itself. The last communication touching MacGuffin's Curse was the March 15, 2022 HD update. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no indication from the developer that further updates are planned. The game has been complete since launch and was last meaningfully updated on March 15, 2022.
