MADiSON launched on July 7, 2022 as a complete first-person psychological horror game. A cosmetic DLC (the Possessed Camera pack) shipped on July 8, 2022. The developer continued light post-launch support with minor patches through late 2022. On October 26, 2023, the developer announced a second DLC called "MADiSON: The Maxwells' Curse," describing it as "arriving very soon." That same post also shipped a version 2.2 update that explicitly included "support for the Maxwells' Curse DLC," strongly indicating the DLC shipped around that same time. Importantly, this DLC does not appear in the store's DLC list — only the Possessed Camera DLC (released July 8, 2022) is listed.
