Magical Battle Cry

Magical Battle Cry (言出法随) is a Chinese-language voice-controlled xianxia action game that has been in Steam Early Access since February 8, 2021. The game remains explicitly in Early Access — the store page itself acknowledges this and invites players to report bugs. The developer, 羲和工作室, has been consistently active throughout the game's Early Access period. The most recent update, v0.7.0, was posted on May 31, 2026, adding a new random mission type ("封堵裂隙") and rebuilding core resource-loading logic. Before that, a substantial November 14, 2025 update introduced an entirely new main scene system, a revamped flying-sword travel mechanic, and quality-of-life improvements. October 2025 alone saw four separate patches covering a full spell data overhaul, new gameplay systems, and numerous bug fixes. Looking further back, a major v3.0 overhaul in July 2021 essentially rebuilt the game from the ground up, and a v5.2 update in January 2022 continued expanding content. This pattern — frequent feature patches punctuated by major structural overhauls — has been consistent since launch. The developer has not announced a 1.0 release date or signaled any intention to leave Early Access soon. No specific future content has been named or announced beyond what is already in-game, but the frequency and substance of ongoing updates make clear that active development continues. English language support is also noted as planned but not yet implemented.
