Magical Girl Clicker launched on October 6, 2022 and received one major content update — Ver2.0 on March 11, 2023 — which added new fever modes, animations, items, and achievements. A balance patch followed on May 7, 2025, adjusting achievement requirements and adding a parameter customization feature.
Since May 7, 2025, the developer's news posts for this game have been almost entirely focused on other EXAMGAMES titles: a new game called "Kawaii Clicker" was announced in April 2025, ran into Steam review issues in June 2025, and was eventually relaunched as "Kawaii Clicker Reborn" (released January 30, 2026). A multi-game bundle was promoted in January 2026 that includes Magical Girl Clicker alongside these other titles.
None of the posts since the May 2025 balance patch announce new content, a roadmap, or further development plans for Magical Girl Clicker itself. The developer's attention has clearly shifted to their newer titles. With only two meaningful content drops across the game's lifetime, no announced future content, and the last update to the game occurring on May 7, 2025, the game appears to have reached the end of its content cycle. The balance patch on May 7, 2025 is the most recent work done on the game itself and is a reasonable marker for when updates concluded.
