ReLU Games maintained an active update cadence through the rest of 2024: bug fixes and feature patches shipped in late May, a Legend Mode update arrived July 24, 2024, random online matchmaking launched September 4, 2024, and the most substantial content addition — Episode 2: A New Adventure — was announced November 2, 2024 and released November 7, 2024, adding a new story chapter with new characters and enemy types. The store description has been updated to prominently feature Episode 2 content. However, as of September 24, 2026, no developer communication about this game has appeared since November 2024 — approximately 10 months of silence following a period when updates had been arriving roughly every 1–3 months. The developer has not announced a 1.0 release date, a completion of development, or any further content plans for this game. Separately, in October 2025, ReLU Games announced an entirely new game — MIMESIS, a co-op horror title — via this game's Steam news feed. While a studio working on a new project does not automatically mean a previous Early Access game is abandoned, it is a noteworthy signal when combined with the extended communication silence on this title. The game remains in Early Access with no stated completion timeline, and the developer has not announced that development is finished.
