Maid Mansion

Maid Mansion launched on November 13, 2020 as a complete visual novel. Shortly after launch, the developer began announcing a free epilogue DLC called "Maid Mania," which has evolved significantly over the years but has never been released. The DLC was first announced in June 2021, targeting November 2021 for the game's first anniversary. It then slipped to Spring 2022, then Spring 2023, and most recently to Spring 2025. In a post on November 14, 2024 — the game's fourth anniversary — the developer confirmed the animations and voice acting are fully complete, with only the programming work remaining. The developer also mentioned possibly repackaging everything as a paid "Maid Mansion Deluxe Edition" rather than releasing the DLC for free as originally promised. However, Spring 2025 has now passed with no release and no further communication from the developer. The DLC has a long track record of missed deadlines, and the pattern of silence following each promised date raises real concern about whether this content will ever ship. The developer has expressed genuine intent to deliver and provided concrete progress details as recently as November 2024, but the absence of any follow-up communication after the most recent missed deadline makes the current status uncertain.
