Evaluation

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the store page has no purchase options. This is consistent with the well-documented history of Activision's Marvel games, which were removed from digital storefronts in 2017 when Activision's Marvel license expired. The game launched on Steam on July 26, 2016. The only developer communication on record is a bug fix patch posted on August 5, 2016 — just ten days after launch — which addressed controller support, audio issues, and online connectivity problems. No further posts were made after that date, and the game cannot currently be acquired through Steam.

Evidence

Game launched on Steam on July 26, 2016 with no purchase options currently available, indicating it has been removed from sale.

About this game

The Marvel Universe is being torn apart. The Superhuman Registration Act becomes law and Super Heroes must register as weapons of mass destruction, becoming licensed government agents. As Civil War is stirred, Iron Man leads the Pro-Registration side while Captain America spearheads the stand on Anti-Registration. The enemies you battle and the missions you accomplish depend on which side you choose.
