Masked Forces launched on November 23, 2016 as a complete FPS game with a singleplayer campaign and multiplayer modes. Following launch, the developer shipped a small number of feature patches through 2017 (holiday cosmetics, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes) and then released one paid DLC — Crazy Mode — on August 27, 2018, which added modified gameplay rules and 9 maps. That DLC is the only piece of post-launch paid content and it has been fully released. After August 2018, the developer's news posts shifted entirely to promoting other games in their catalog (Masked Forces 3, Galactic Force, Rebel Forces), with no further updates, patches, or announcements directed at this game. The last developer communication of any kind related to Masked Forces dates to August 2018. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, and no roadmap. The game appears to have reached its final state with the release of Crazy Mode in August 2018.
