Maskmaker launched on April 20, 2021 as a complete, self-contained VR adventure game. In the years following release, InnerspaceVR issued a handful of bug-fix patches (April and May 2021, September 2023) and one feature patch in February 2023 that added language support and Quest improvements — all maintenance work with no new story content or expansions. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content for Maskmaker, and no developer statements suggesting additional content was ever planned beyond the base game.
The studio has remained active, but its energy has gone into entirely new titles: Another Fisherman's Tale (May 2023), One True Path (September 2024 Early Access), and Spymaster (May 2026 Early Access). The May 2026 post specifically name-drops Maskmaker as part of InnerspaceVR's back-catalogue of completed works, further confirming the game is a finished product. Maskmaker shipped as a complete experience and has received no content expansions in the five years since launch.
