Master Key

Master Key launched on May 17, 2024 as a complete top-down adventure game. Following launch, the developer shipped a difficulty update on May 23, 2024 and added cloud saves on August 6, 2024 — both quality-of-life improvements responding to player feedback rather than new content expansions. No additional content updates have followed since August 6, 2024. The developer has since moved on to new projects. On December 15, 2024, they announced Havenlocked — a direct sequel to Master Key — and on October 31, 2025, they launched a separate game, Skigill, into Early Access. By May 17, 2026 (Master Key's second anniversary), the developer confirmed they had completed Skigill's 1.0 release and were fully focused on Havenlocked. There is no mention of any planned updates, DLC, or new content for Master Key itself. Both DLC items listed on the store (the soundtrack and a bonus content pack) were released on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists. The developer has made no statements suggesting further content for Master Key is planned — all future development energy is directed toward the sequel. Master Key appears to have shipped as a complete, self-contained experience.
