Evaluation

Melody's Escape 2 launched its full version 1.0 on June 12, 2026 after an extended Early Access period during which the developer (Icetesy) steadily improved the game with major additions like the Flying intensity mode (November 2022), new track environments, complete algorithm overhauls, and Steam Workshop support. The 1.0 release post described it as the culmination of that work and expressed pride in what was accomplished. Since launch, the only developer activity has been a patch on August 24, 2026 (v1.1) that added support for a cosmetic Supporter DLC — a "Galaxy Effect" visual — released the same day. This DLC is purely cosmetic and optional; it does not represent gameplay content or suggest a planned content roadmap. There are no unreleased DLC items on the store, no announced future content or expansion plans, and no roadmap. The developer has not communicated any plans for further content updates beyond what has shipped. The game appears to have launched as a complete product, with the single post-launch patch serving as routine maintenance and cosmetic DLC support rather than a signal of ongoing content development.
Evidence
Developer announced v1.0 full release, summarizing all major milestones achieved during Early Access. Framed as the completion of the Early Access journey.
