Meridian: Squad 22 launched into Early Access on June 2, 2016, and received several content updates throughout the Early Access period, adding campaign missions, game modes, and achievements. On August 11, 2016, the developer officially declared the game "feature complete" upon leaving Early Access and releasing the full version. The pre-launch post from June 1, 2016 also clearly stated that upon full release, the focus would shift from feature requests to bug reports — signaling the developer's intent to treat the full release as the conclusion of content development. The only DLC available is the soundtrack, which was released on June 2, 2016. No additional content has been announced, and there have been no developer posts since the full release on August 11, 2016. The game launched as a finished, self-contained product.
