Mindless Running launched on February 18, 2016. The developer shipped two post-launch updates shortly after release: a character update on March 10, 2016 (adding 4 new playable characters and bug fixes) and a Retro Update on April 21, 2016 (adding a retro visual mode, a new achievement, and jazz music). After April 21, 2016, no further updates were made to Mindless Running itself.
The developer (Quiet River) has remained active as a studio — they have continued releasing entirely separate games on Steam, including OxU (September 2022), Cube0S (June 2024), Zup! Y (November 2024), and OxU 2 (February 2026). However, all of their news posts since 2016 are announcements and launches of these other titles, not updates to Mindless Running. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating any further content is planned for this game. The store description makes no mention of upcoming content.
The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received two small updates in early 2016 to polish it, with no post-launch content cycle ever established beyond those initial patches.

Our hero will have to go off on a dangerous journey, go through thick and thin, overcome hardships and obstacles to get to his Granny (who has baked his favourite Pedigree snacks for her beloved grandson ). Due to player needs motivation, during the journey the lives of the hero and his friends will be permanently in danger. See if you can take that!
