Minds Beneath Us

Minds Beneath Us launched on July 31, 2024 after five years of development. Following release, BearBone Studio shipped several patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements, and added a small scene to the ending in August 2024. On July 30, 2025 — marking the game's first anniversary — the developer shipped a new extended ending, describing it as making "the story feel more complete." This is the most recent major content addition to the game. In that same anniversary post, the developer teased an entirely new project set in the same universe as Minds Beneath Us, describing it as a separate game rather than additional content for this one. No further DLC, expansions, or updates for Minds Beneath Us itself have been announced since then. Subsequent posts (September 2025 and March 2026) have been localization updates — Italian and Spanish language support — which are maintenance-style additions rather than new story content. The developer's August 2024 statement that they "plan to release some small content updates in the future" was followed by the anniversary extended ending in July 2025, which plausibly fulfills that promise. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, and the developer has not announced any further content for the game after the anniversary update. The game appears to be content-complete as of the extended ending released on July 30, 2025.
