Miss Neko: Pirates launched on March 22, 2024. Following release, the developer shipped a series of patches and then, on June 28, 2024, released a major update adding three new playable characters and replacing character artwork across all dialogue with newly commissioned illustrations — a meaningful content expansion. That June 28, 2024 update is the last developer communication on record. Since then — through June 2026 — there have been no further announcements, roadmaps, or hints of additional content. The sole DLC listed on the store (a free bonus content pack) was released before the game launched and is already available. No unreleased DLC is listed, no future updates have been announced, and the developer has made no statements about ongoing development. The game appears to have launched as a self-contained title, received a post-launch content update in June 2024, and has been complete since that point.

Thrown into the sea by a mutinous crew, the captain of the "Lucky Coin" was left for dead.Yet, some mysterious force allows you to survive from death, surviving the depths as the crew believes they've killed their captain.
