Evaluation
Mist is a short, self-contained first-person horror game developed by a solo developer (43N34S) and released on May 1, 2024. The only DLC ever listed — a Supporter Pack containing the soundtrack — shipped on May 17, 2024, shortly after launch.
The developer explicitly stated on November 1, 2024 that the November patch was being rolled out "before finally beginning work on my new game," signaling that active development on Mist was wrapping up. That patch delivered visual improvements and bug fixes but no new story content. A follow-up post on May 21, 2026 confirms the developer has been working on an entirely new game (a boomer shooter) since November 2025 and describes Mist as their "one and only published game" — there is no mention of any future content planned for Mist.
The game's store description frames it as a complete, finite experience with multiple endings already in place. No roadmap, unannounced DLC, or future content has ever been communicated for Mist. The November 1, 2024 patch represents the final substantive update to the game, and the developer has since moved on to a new project.

About this game
Weird things can happen on the road...
A short, simple first person horror game about exploring area in the middle of nowhere to get help with repairing your car and continuing your path. Your only real enemy here is mist that shrouds the whole forest and does something weird with anyone who end up getting lost here... On your way you'll find forester's cabin but, unfortunately, there's no one home, so you better go looking for its owner, maybe he'll know how to help or have a phone so that you can make a call. You'll stumble upon different places, be it an abandoned meteostation or radiotower, but the longer you stay here the more the mist is taking control over you.Eventually you'll find something that shouldn't be here: places that have no connection to the forest you are in, voices from nowhere that tell about their lives and...weird figures in the distance.
To get out of here you'll need to use various items, from the classic indie horror shotgun to defend yourself to the radio receiver that'll help you to navigate through the forest to find important locations. Be aware that your resources are quite limited and you'll need to utilize everything you'll find in order to succeed and get out of here.
Game has several various endings, each one depends on your actions in the playthrough: dialogue choices you make, and amount of sheer boldness of your actions in defending yourself and finding your way out.
