Mizuchi 白蛇心傳

Mizuchi 白蛇心傳 is a yuri visual novel that released on April 17, 2020. Since launch, the developer (Aikasa Collective) has made several rounds of post-launch improvements: a version 1.2 patch in January 2021 fixing typos, sound effects, and adding songs; a soundtrack DLC released in November 2021; and ongoing bug fixes through 2025–2026. The most significant post-launch update arrived on March 5, 2026, when the developer shipped a major multi-language update adding Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese to the Steam version — languages that had previously been console-exclusive. This was the result of a lengthy localization process with console publishers that the developer had been communicating about since at least April 2023. In their April 2023 development update, the developer also mentioned a planned digital artbook DLC. However, the March 2026 multi-language update post makes no mention of this artbook, and the developer framed the update as the conclusion of outstanding work on Mizuchi ("console multi-language exclusivity is officially over"). The artbook was described as a smaller, more affordable version of the physical Kickstarter artbook, but given that the March 2026 post — which covered the completion of all the localization work it was tied to — does not reference it, it appears this plan was quietly set aside or bundled differently. The developer's attention has now clearly shifted to their next title, Red Rebellion, which they actively promote across their most recent posts (February and March 2026, and the April 2025 anniversary post). The game's store page describes a self-contained narrative with five endings and no seasonal or ongoing content structure. A small bug fix on April 12, 2026 (restoring two missing CGs) represents the most recent developer activity, and is consistent with maintenance rather than new content development. The sole released DLC is the soundtrack (November 2021). All announced content — the multi-language update — has now shipped. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and the developer has not announced any further content for Mizuchi.
