Moonripple Lake is an actively developed Early Access game from solo developer Banana Cream Games, launched on January 15, 2026. The developer has shipped updates consistently since launch: Episode 7 Part 1 arrived on February 28, 2026, followed by bug fix and feature patches in early March 2026. In May 2026, the developer paused the planned June update to care for their newborn third child, but committed to returning and delivering a larger update later in the year. The August 2026 devlog confirmed the developer was back to putting in a minimum of 8 hours a day on the game, still targeting a December 2026 release. The most recent post, dated September 30, 2026, announces a change of plans: the developer is now releasing the second half of Episode 7 — the photoshoot and Duke scenes — in October 2026, earlier than the originally planned December release. The developer notes that some content originally intended for this update (more freeroam content and a Drago scene option) didn't make it in and will come at a later time. Development is clearly active, with the next content drop imminent.
