Moss: Book II launched on October 20, 2022 as a VR exclusive. Its only store DLC — the original soundtrack — shipped on April 4, 2024. No further DLC or content updates have been announced for this game.
The most significant recent development is a September 22, 2026 post from Polyarc in which the studio announced that active development at Polyarc is winding down. The post states that Moss, Moss: Book II, and Moss: The Forgotten Relic will remain available, but that the studio's ability to provide ongoing updates and support will be more limited going forward. This is a clear statement that new content development for Moss: Book II has ended.
The previous evaluation flagged Moss: The Forgotten Relic — a non-VR reimagining of the full Moss adventure — as upcoming content, with a July 16, 2026 release date confirmed via the Steam Next Fest demo post. That game has now had time to launch (it was slated for July 16, 2026, and today is October 2, 2026). It is a separate product on a separate Steam listing; its release does not add new content to Moss: Book II itself. The studio's wind-down announcement, posted after that game's launch window, confirms there is no further content planned for this title.
