Evaluation

Mother Hub launched on April 23, 2025, after roughly 10 years of solo development by ODale Studios. The developer's launch post described the release as the culmination of that journey, and a February 8, 2025 announcement explicitly stated "Mother Hub is DONE" alongside confirmation of the release date. Shortly after launch, the developer posted an apology explaining they could not afford to add multi-language support due to personal financial hardship — a statement that, combined with the "done" declaration, signals the game shipped as a complete, finished product with no additional content planned. Following the launch, the developer shifted focus entirely to new projects: a new game called Dead Exhale was announced on May 3, 2025 and launched on October 27, 2025, and another new game, Face Interrogation, was announced on October 13, 2025. None of the post-launch communications reference any future updates, DLC, or additional content for Mother Hub. The pre-launch development activity (feature patches and demo updates through 2024) was part of the road to the 1.0 release, not a post-launch content cycle. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store.

About this game

Enter the Dark Zone - Estimated Run Time: 2 Hours

In a world where all of humanity is trapped inside a single massive vault, fight to discover a cure for the sickness that plagues them by descending into the abandoned lower levels. Only you can survive the horrors that await within the depths of the Mother Hub.

Horrifying Enemies

Terrifying creatures have both evolved, and mutated here. They lurk in the dark corners waiting to feast on your flesh. Either become soaked in their blood, or your own.

Futuristic Weapons

It has been over centuries since the golden age of the Hub, during that time there were endless advancements in technology. Now that's all been lost, it's up to you to rediscover it.

Beautiful Environments

The once pristine walls of the Mother Hub have decayed, a new world has surfaced within its midst, one where nature has taken hold, and evolved on its own. Unknown species of plants, animals, and something terrible thrive as you descend deeper into the past.

Mystery of the Past

The farther you go, the more you'll learn about what went wrong here. You'll see how your character Thea plays a pivotal role not only in saving humanity, but how she is herself is intertwined within these walls. Listen to audio logs, read emails, find ancient writings, and documents as well as experience strange flash backs all giving you clues to the truth of your situation.

Keybindings:

No. I tried really hard for this guys but the system is really old I built Mother Hub on.

Playtime:

About 2 hours. If you are experienced it might be closer to 1:45, and if you take your time it's closer to 3.
