MotoGP™22 launched on April 21, 2022 as a fully featured sports simulation title covering the complete 2022 MotoGP season. It shipped with two DLC items — the VIP Multiplier Pack and Special Suits — both released on launch day, so no additional DLC has been announced or remains pending. The only post-launch developer communication was a May 10, 2022 patch that added updated liveries from the 2022 season, with a note that Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE liveries would follow soon. That brief mention was typical of the kind of in-season content update that accompanies annual sports titles as the real-world season progresses, and no further updates or announcements have been made since May 10, 2022. As an annual sports franchise entry, MotoGP™22 was designed to represent the 2022 season specifically, and Milestone has since released successor titles (MotoGP™23, MotoGP™24, etc.) for subsequent seasons. The game has received no developer communication of any kind since May 2022, consistent with the studio having moved its focus to the next installment. The game is complete as delivered.
