Mouse X is a mouse cursor customization utility that launched on June 10, 2026. Since release, the developer has been attentive and active, shipping a same-day hotfix, two more hotfixes on June 11–12, and a feature update on June 20 that added a new hotkey, UI improvements, additional language support, and performance fixes. The developer also noted "more to come" regarding performance improvements in that June 20 update. The tool launched with Steam Workshop support for community-made cursor skins. Given that Mouse X only released on June 10, 2026, there simply hasn't been enough time post-launch to establish whether a sustained content update pattern will develop. The developer is clearly engaged, but the game is too new to assess long-term content plans.
