Evaluation

Mr. Pompy's Extravagant Quiz launched on October 28, 2024 as a free-to-play tech demo — the store description explicitly describes it as such, stating "This is a tech demo, with the full game coming soon!" On July 9, 2025, the developer published a post titled "FINAL UPDATE," confirming it was the last major update to the current tech demo. In that post, they stated they would be "taking a long break from Pompy-related stuff to recharge for when we make the full game." This confirms the tech demo itself is content-complete as of July 9, 2025, but also makes clear that a full game is planned. Following the final major update, the developer continued shipping smaller patches as promised: Patch Notes #2 on August 7, 2025, Patch Notes #3 on September 6, 2025, and Patch Notes #4 on September 30, 2025 — all focused on bug fixes, accessibility options, and minor changes, consistent with their stated maintenance intentions. The most recent developer communication was September 30, 2025. The full game has not yet been announced with a release date or listed on the store, but the developer's intent to create it was stated clearly and has not been walked back. Players should be aware this release is a completed tech demo serving as a precursor to a separate full release that the developer intends to build.

Meet the Crew!

You've got PomPom! Her lively and boisterous personality can help you solve math problems and, all in all, lift your mood. Visit her store occasionally to purchase several treats.

Next is Patrick! He will speed you through all you need to know about history and science. Perhaps even to the extent where you greatly surpass him. Visit his library whenever you have some free time to learn about interesting topics.
