Muffles' Life Sentence

Muffles' Life Sentence is an episodic RPG that launched on March 7, 2025. The game's story was told across five episodes, each released as a separate DLC: Episode 2 (March 8, 2025), Episode 3 (June 7, 2025), Episode 4 (October 17, 2025), and Episode 5 (February 26, 2026). On February 26, 2026, the developer announced Episode 5 as "The Final Episode" and confirmed that the entire story is now playable from start to finish. On March 1, 2026, the developer published a detailed postmortem devlog reflecting on the completed project and discussing a pivot toward future games — likely shorter, possibly 3D, and leaning more into horror — making clear that Muffles is a finished chapter. Subsequent activity has been post-launch maintenance: feature patches on March 9, 2026 (new card library UI, minor content additions) and a hotfix on March 10, 2026 (crash fix). On July 27, 2026, the developer announced a storefront restructuring — consolidating the previously free-to-play base game and separate episode DLCs into a single purchasable product starting August 3, 2026.
