Multi Turret Academy entered Steam Early Access on January 18, 2024, and remains actively in development. Yulia Games has maintained an exceptionally consistent update cadence, with 11 major content drops recorded across the game's lifetime and frequent feature patches and bug fixes in between. Updates have been arriving roughly every 2–6 weeks throughout 2025 and 2026. On January 18, 2026 (the game's 2nd anniversary), the developer explicitly stated: "This year, we'll continue updating the game as usual. And once this title is fully completed, we'll move on to creating more Military Anime Games in the future." This confirms ongoing development toward a future 1.0 release with no completion date announced. Recent activity underscores that development is very much ongoing. A June 1, 2026 update added the Kübelwagen vehicle and explicitly teased that "upcoming updates will focus more on improving replayability, along with some seasonal event content." That promise was fulfilled by the Summer Blitz seasonal event on July 22, 2026, which introduced a new story event, boss, swimsuit skins, and a new vehicle. Most recently, on August 9, 2026 — just 18 days before today — the developer shipped another major update adding a new support vehicle, an advanced difficulty mode, and a brand-new Ally Upgrade system. The developer also noted in that post: "we will continue working hard to fill in the missing content of the game little by little," signaling clearly that content development is continuing.
