Munchkin Digital launched on March 9, 2023 and has received a steady stream of paid DLC expansions since then: Unnatural Axe (June 28, 2023), Clerical Errors (July 15, 2024), and Pathfinder (December 9, 2025). This gives the game a well-established pattern of major content releases roughly every 6–18 months. Notably, when announcing the Pathfinder expansion in October 2025, Dire Wolf explicitly stated it is "the first standalone set in Munchkin Digital, with more compatible Pathfinder content on the way" — a clear statement of intent to release additional content. The most recent developer communication was a stability patch on January 21, 2026. As of today (September 17, 2026), that is approximately 8 months of silence, which approaches the outer edge of the historical cadence window but is not clearly beyond it given the 6–18 month range between major releases. Importantly, the developer's own statement about further Pathfinder content has not been retracted or fulfilled by a subsequent release, keeping that commitment live. All four DLC entries currently listed on the store are marked as released, but no explicit completion announcement has been made.
