Music Band Manager launched on December 6, 2017 and received a flurry of updates in its first few months — multiple feature patches adding tours, advertising, music videos, new backgrounds, and additional music tracks. The last of these updates was a "massive update" posted on March 13, 2018. After that point, developer communications shifted entirely away from this game. The next notable post (September 2019) announced the release of a different game, Last Day of Rome, and a September 2021 post announced yet another new game, Shelter Manager. Neither of these posts mentions any plans for Music Band Manager. No DLC has ever been listed for the game, no roadmap was published, and no developer statement mentions future content for it. The studio's attention clearly moved on to other projects after early 2018. The game launched as a complete product and received its final meaningful content additions in March 2018.

There are three levels of difficulty to choose from, but if the game seems to be hard for you, you can change your difficulty level at any time.
