Mutropolis is a self-contained point-and-click adventure game that launched on February 18, 2021. The studio, Pirita Studio, is a two-person team who described it as their debut game. Following launch, they shipped two quality-of-life patches: a hotspot highlight feature on March 26, 2021, and full Steam Deck/gamepad support on July 8, 2022. Both were improvements to the existing game rather than new content expansions. The only DLC released — an artbook and a soundtrack — shipped within days of launch and are supplemental extras rather than game content. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store. By December 20, 2023, Pirita Studio announced their next game, "The Rising," a separate title currently in development. This announcement confirms the studio has moved on from Mutropolis to a new project, with no mention of any further updates or content for Mutropolis. The game launched as a complete, story-driven experience and has received no major content additions since release.

Forgotten by everyone except Henry Dijon and his ragtag team of archaeologists. They left Mars to dig up lost treasures on the wild and inhospitable Planet Earth. Life is sweet, until Henry’s professor is kidnapped, and thing start to get... weird.
Join Henry on a freewheeling adventure through the ruins of our civilization. Ask questions like, “Who was this Sony Walkman? And where did he walk?” Unearth extraordinary relics, rescue Professor Totel, and be the first to enter the legendary city of Mutropolis.
One more thing - the gods of ancient Egypt are real and they’re trying to destroy humanity. - Have fun!
