My Dream Setup launched on February 20, 2023 and has received a sustained, consistent stream of major free content updates and paid DLC ever since — a pattern that continues to this day.
On the paid DLC side, Campfire Studio has shipped six room/theme expansion packs: Pets DLC (November 17, 2023), Kitchen DLC and Bathroom DLC (both April 11, 2024), Garage DLC (November 29, 2024), Sim Racing DLC (October 30, 2025), and Shopping DLC (July 14, 2026). All are currently released with no unreleased DLC listed on the store.
On the free update side, the studio has maintained a regular cadence of large item drops: the Anniversary Update #2 (March 1, 2025) added gameplay improvements and fixes, the Free Placement Update (June 7, 2025) added major new placement features, the Anniversary Update #3 (February 25, 2026) added 74 new free items, the Spring Update Vol. 2.0 (April 19, 2026) added 75 new items, and today — September 28, 2026 — the Autumn Update shipped with 50+ new free items. The developer's note in the Autumn Update thanks the community for ongoing suggestions and states "your support means so much to us," consistent with a studio that continues to build on player feedback.
The developer explicitly acknowledged the game's continued growth in the Shopping DLC announcement (July 14, 2026), describing the game as "growing beyond the limits of a single room." No statement has been made indicating development is winding down or complete. The last major content release is today, and the historical pattern shows updates arriving every 2–5 months across the game's entire three-and-a-half year lifespan. There is every indication that further content will continue to arrive.

My Dream Setup is a simulation game about building the room you've always dreamed of. A huge selection of furniture, computers and their accessories, posters, pictures, plants, and other interior details await you. Try all of them and create your dream setup.
Arrange the furniture the way you want. No placing by the grid - complete freedom of action. If you don't like where you put a piece of furniture, just move it at any time. No limits on the amount of furniture in the room. Make a small neat office or a huge studio with a bunch of computers, monitors and other things - it's all up to you.
Change the color of the furniture. All colors of the RGB palette are available to you. Each piece of furniture is customizable separately. This allows you to create all kinds of color combinations. You can paint almost anything: doors, windows, furniture and background color. Try combining different colors and shades to get the best looking room.
A huge selection of wallpapers and wall paints awaits you. Do you want to put wallpaper with flowers in your room? Or are you a fan of loft and want a brick wall? Paint each wall separately to create the most unexpected designs, or paint an entire room in one click. We let your imagination run wild.
See how your room looks under different lighting and weather conditions. We offer you five weather options: sunny, sunset, rain, snow, and night. Each option gives the room a new atmosphere as well as a new view from the window. Also in rainy and snowy weather, precipitation appears on the windows for even more immersion.
